Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is stunning to look at and even more stunning to look from.

Featuring two different observation deck levels, you can get a grasp on how big this city really is.

On a clear day, the view stretches all the way to Mount Fuji

In the back right, you can see Tokyo's Sky Tree which many think will replace Tokyo Tower as an iconic symbol of Tokyo.

Tokyo Station

Got a sweet tooth? Check out Tokyo Station's Daimaru.

Row after row of Japanese and western pastries:

Some booths even offer samples

Each desert looks like a work of art

You can easily spend an hour in this shop!

One thing to keep in mind is that traditionally it is rude to walk around and eat food in Japanese culture, so I would recommend buying the pastry and returning to your hotel room or house if you want to respect the Japanese culture. (Also there is a lack of trashcans in Tokyo so you may have to carry the trash around for a while)

Shinagawa Prince Hotel Review

Looking for a affordable hotel in Tokyo? Check out the Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Located right next to a major station featuring the yamanote line and various shinkansen lines, the hotel offers access to all of Tokyo.

There are many shops and restaurants located in and around the hotel. There is even a movie theater, bowling alley, and an aquarium!

Great staff that is very helpful

They even have an amazing toilet.

Haunted Tokyo Tours Review

Being one of the oldest cities in the world with various tragedies, Tokyo is said to be one of the most haunted cities in the world. To the naked eye when you see Tokyo you just think "new" but Lilly Fields, the tour guide gives you a different perspective!

Haunted Tokyo Tours

There are three main tours, the one I attended was The Ghost and Goblins of Old Tokyo Tour which was terrific, but I would like to try one of the other tours and learn about other areas of Tokyo!

Lilly Fields, the tour guide is such a fascinating lady with a vast knowledge of the city. She is the perfect tour guide with a great personality.

The tour is not just about ghosts and goblins, it's also about the history of Tokyo and how the very unique religion weaves its way into the culture. For a unique experience and a wealth of knowledge, I highly recommend this tour on your next trip to Tokyo!

Tokyo Game Show

Tokyo Game Show aka TGS is one of the world's largest video game conventions. Tickets are very cheap around 1200 yen for regular admission and is open to the public on the last two days, Saturday and Sunday.  The convention is extremely large and the booths are designed beautifully.
Now the downside of Tokyo Game Show is that the lines are way too long because they allow everyone to come in. Which is alright if you just want to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere but if you would like to demo a major game the wait is normally an hour to an hour and a half.

For the playstation vita the wait was so long that they just ended the line and said no one else could go in.

Also there wasn't as many people dressed up as Comic-con but it is a different atmosphere. Here is a picture of one of the few people:
